How is he robbing them when he’s forfeiting 17 million dollars of his salary. The Brooklyn Net’s owner is robbing the of people of Brooklyn’s fans by not paying the fine each game that would allow Kyrie to play. He’d rather save 17 Million than pay 5k per game smfh

The way the questions are posed are to dilute the greatness of his game.

This talk about what Kyrie didn’t do before LeBron came back and that stint in Boston. First of all that was only Kyrie’s 4th year in the league when Lebron came back. LeBron didn’t even make the playoffs his first two years in the league and didn’t win a chip until he formed that superteam in Miami in year 7. 2nd People forget the Celtics were good that first year with Kyrie in the lineup but when he got hurt Tatum and Brown liked their bigger roles and didn’t want to give them up once Kyrie came back which brought the team down and he eventually left to go to Brooklyn, also the injury to Gordon at the beginning of that season pretty much ruined whatever that team was going to be as well for the future.

People always forget what was going on in that first season in Boston when he was balling

    • itshiho

      March 16, 2022 at 2:40 pm

@Ameire 22 Yup once Tatum and Brown got a taste of success they didn’t want to sacrifice their games and Kyrie didn’t have the cache of a LeBron/KD or someone like that to keep them in their place. Kyrie was actually averaging less points and more assists that 2nd year.

This fool. Nobody in the history can score at 3 levels like Kyrie. His dribbling ability along with his finishing around the rim is second to none. Add in he’s an above average shooter. This idiot is crazy

Kyrie Irving: *makes a free throw*

Stephen A: “This brother is an all time talent! He’s the reeeeal deal. I was disgusted to watch such a brilliant performance from Kyrie. Made me want to throw up! Brother should be out there balling every night!”

Also about Jerry West: great, great player. But the reason he’s the logo has more to do with the quality of the image than the quality of the player. They took a great picture of him moving in a cool way in a basketball game, and made it the logo. That doesn’t mean other players aren’t more “deserving” of being the logo if we look at resume. But very few of those players have such a iconic picture of them in a cool in-game pose like Jerry West. There’s also nostalgia. People don’t want to remove him as the logo because they’re used to the logo image, and some would say it’s disrespectful to the past greats of the game to remove a past great player as the logo.

Long story short, way too much is made about who the logo is. It’s about the picture, not the player.

Can’t argue with that but there’s that “other” thing too

    • Hayes Ensign

      March 16, 2022 at 5:15 pm

The logo image is about history and the image itself, not Jerry West’s talent or resume. End of story

Also lets not blame kyrie for them celtics. we all know taytum and brown only knew iso ball. early this year proved that. theyre just now learning even smart called them out…..AND guys didnt like that hayward started and guys like terry and morris were playing for new contracts. no continuity. like stop putting that narrative on kyrie man its sickening. ppl dont realize with him that year they won they first 5 playoff games 1 being against the bucks
