Sir, please explain to rational people how Kawhi “ruined a franchise.”
Was Steve Ballmer a little child holding a piece of candy until the big bad Kawhi came along and stole it from him?
Or did a multibillion-dollar organization knowingly make a massive gamble, believing it had enough power, money, and influence to manage the risks—and perhaps thinking it wouldn’t get caught if lines were crossed?
Kawhi didn’t make those organizational decisions by himself. The Clippers had executives, lawyers, advisers, and an owner involved. If the organization took the gamble, then accountability can’t suddenly fall entirely on the player when things go sideways.
Make it make sense, sir.

He should be suspended for a year & fined every penny he received over & above the league max. If the players association wants to complain or sue the league, let them defend a player who was eligible to earn over $50 million and said not enough, I want more, good luck with that.
