Stephen A is so wrong all the time. He calls Lonzo “passive.” How can you be one of the best defensive players and be passive? I’d like to see Stephen A play defence .

Magic is saying it right. to win you got to catch a collection of your players to match on the right arc timing of their careers. many teams have mis-matching arcs of their players. They may have great stats but they don’t win. too many young or old players together. That is why AD left New Orleans and Harden left the Rockets. you got to place them where they can be at their overlapping peak together for a few years. There are only a handful of players where their peak arc is more than 3-4 years. for eg. Lebron’s arc has been about 14 years. Steph 6 years. For eg. Giannis is a great player but he mismatches with the peak with his teammates. Giannis has not even started his peak even though he has already won 2 MVP awards. Giannis peak will start in 2 years from now and last for 5 years. In 2 years from now he will know how to win and work on all the deficits. free -throws and improving his passing. MJ did not even reach peak until he was 6 years into the league. He maintained that peak for 8 years.
