Steph Curry shooting so many shots is not good for the rest of the Warriors development. I know he has a lot of fun doing it, but he will not be hot every game and when he isn’t hot, the other Warriors won’t know how to contribute when he isn’t shooting well if he continues taking most of the team’s shots. I think he should work harder on developing his teammates game’s and feeding them the ball more and shoot less so they will know how to help him when he struggles shooting.

Curry is a real baller. Pure shooter with amazing court vision and creativity. Hi basketball IQ. LeBron doesn’t even come close this skill level. Watch LeBron play and he’ll remind you of your local 50 year old regular at the YMCA basketball court. Minimally skilled. Ugly shot. No dribble. No defense. Only focused on offense. Uses his big ass body to truck his way to the basket. Pushes off with his arm. Just ugly ugly basketball and somehow the NBA has fooled many into thinking he’s a great.

Curious with all the analytics out there if these questions can be answered. I did a few searches and found not much. First, some people out there might not think of Curry as the best shooter ever. Not going to argue that because comparing players in different eras just is idiotic (though almost everybody does it including myself but is still a pointless conversation). IMO Curry is the best shooter in the game right now and for quite a while. Others will argue that which is fine. Others might say that he is given more of a green light. That is no longer the case, It was historically which is why comparing players in different eras is nonsensical. Now I think it is safe to say every team is looking for the next Curry. I would like to see if there is an analytical point to this. What are the percentages of 3s made with somebody within 1ft of the shooter or % 3s made with a defender on the shooter, 3s made when they get fouled, 3s made beyond 28 or 30 feet, and 3s made by creating your own space with the dribble. If anybody has these statistics it would be fun to see. Some people that think there are better shooters out there. I think they would be overwhelmed by the percentage of 3s made by Curry in these situations compared to other top 3 point shooters who make many of their 3s fairly open (I know, Curry has many open 3s). That would be a good stat to get as well. There are many great shooters out there and I don’t want to belittle any of them. I’m just curious about these stats because I think they would be eye opening. Maybe they will be eye opening to me. Thanks to anybody who can weigh in on these questions.
