If we want to win games Wood and Wall have to be on the court at the same time because that duo is deadly.

yea, the spurs looked pretty good in this one. i still feel like lonnie is the better fit in the starting lineup. but only when lonnie is playing lonnie’s game. he’s played well in spots, but sometimes i think he takes too many 3 pt shots. he needs to realize he’s not bryn forbes. sometimes that’s how it feels when he’s out there. again, he needs to just plays his game. that’s what you’re seeing with keldon, devin and dejounte. lonnie spent a lot of time in the g-league where he was 1st option on offense. then when he finally makes the main roster—he’s hardly playing. if it is a confidence issue—i think that was part of it. last year, lonnie scored 28 pts agains james harden and rockets (his best game imo) in a come from behind win in the 4th quarter. the very next game pop put him back on the bench and i believe he only played 12 minutes the next game. how?….why? so that performance wasn’t enough to at least try him in the starting lineup?…OVER BRYN FORBES? again, it’s not easy for young player to play his game and adjust when you have two vets that are the 1 and 2 options on offense. i think the spurs are the only team that has that type of setup. and i think it has been a detriment in many ways. name a team that has a vet or vets as their #1 option on offense with a young core as talented as the spurs. there really are none. that’s why i think the team should start looking for ways to have the young guys take the lead. a team with this much young talent should not be relying solely on or playing through two vets in there 30s. not to say i don’t like demar and LA—i love those guys. but you can see and feel that the young guys are ready to take more of a lead. holding them back is basically holding the team back. it makes even more sense because our best defenders are our young guys, also. anyway, good win for the spurs. i hope lonnie can find a way to play his game and play with confidence. i’ve watched lonnie play in college/g-league and what i’m seeing in terms of his play is just not him.
