Spurs played well against the Bucks… didn’t show much against the Pacers. Carlisle and Pacers finally got an easy win, after losing a couple of close ones.

As a Pacers fan I’d say its Scottie Barnes. Duarte could’ve proved that by beating Toronto but they got swept & Barnes killed us

@Wilber Sanchez I agree Duarte has been phenomenal but Barnes has been leading Toronto to victories & the Pacers have been ass. I’m just looking at like the league will look at it & the player on the winning team will always get the nod

They need to be hustle in all aspects not just raising your hand while trying to contest the shots but contest by locking him down by all means. Spurs are a great team for me with high hopes but please show me intense, aggression, motivation, intensity and communication. C’mon guys, wake up!

I think it’s time for pop to retire he obviously don’t know what he’s doing anymore or maybe he never did maybe he was just being covered up by Duncan manu tony 🤔 why doesn’t he start Murray Walker Johnson Vessell or Young at PF poeltl and White as the six man and just let the offence run though Walker he is the most talented offensive player Spurs got I mean it can’t any worse at this point and that jock guy looks pretty good too but he never gets any playing time 😒

the good news is the spurs shot 52% from the field. the bad news is the pacers shot 57%. defense was an issue from start to finish. i don’t understand why the spurs didn’t explore trying to get keldon the ball/going early. demontas sabonis can’t guard him on the perimeter. this is what i mean by letting the talent work for you instead relying solely on the offense. KJ should’ve had a bigger impact on this game. *thaddeus young should start.* he’s the perfect type of vet that this young team needs in the lineup. he doesn’t need the ball in his hands to be effective. and he can do a lot of things well. (3 rebs, 5 ast, 1 stl). and most importantly, having him on the floor won’t effect the development/growth of our young players. *lonnie needs to be assertive…all the time.* you can see a change in his game late in the 4th when he had the ball in his hands more. when he’s not aggressive his game has the look of a role player. that’s just not him and not his game. starting him in the backcourt with dejounte (which i think is the right move) would only work if he can play with the same pop/confidence he showed late in the game. i like tre jones…a lot. he’s very steady. and once again he had no turnovers. he’s a great floor general but i think his offensive game is very underrated (we know about his defense). he’s the perfect guy to have behind dejounte at the 1 spot. *jock landale was impressive in limited minutes.* i haven’t seen him play a whole lot, but i like what i saw from him. he has some of that same ruggedness to his game that drew eubanks has. his shooting will probably get him on the floor here and there as the season moves on. *i like what dejounte is doing on offense…looking for his shot more.* i think it’s important for him and the team. i just think the team is way too talented not to anchor the offense or to have a #1 scoring option. as the longest tenured spur (player) i think dejounte is doing the right thing by stepping up and trying to fill that role.

Some say offense wins games but defense wins championships. This Spurs team have improved offensively but they are not there defensively yet. The young guns need to be smart on defense. Pop and the team needs to figure out what defensive strategies they will use each game depending on the team they are playing. Most of the players seem to try to defend without fouling but running alongside the opponent and just raising your hand is not effective against most high level players. Spurs need to be more aggressive and assertive defensively. They’ve got to figure it out defensively if they are going to get over the hump.

the Spurs should not play halfheartedly in any game because there is no more other player to wait for…
they are not the little brothers anymore…
no more developing like years before when they have super scorer…
    just be brave…
    Let’s Go Spurs👊👊👊

Pop should play Londale more esp when the opponents are bigger. He can use him as 4 and slide KJ to 3 if we cant connect on the 3s. Take it inside and gain the upperhand in the offensive boards if you have Jak, Londale and KJ in the frontline. Londale moves quicker and has a better bball IQ than Drew.
