The bench bailed us out on this game. So frustrating how Jokic does not get rewarded with calls. Almost as frustrating watching Yao get abused by defenders back in the days.

  31. Savage Opress

    April 8, 2021 at 12:31 pm

If javale is in the locker room best believe they are going to have chemistry. Plus the main options and stars for the team are humble and not egotistical. This is a championship team. They have depth, size and defense. Plenty of offense already but that chemistry and defined roles, huge come playoff time.

If LeFraud James had a year like Jokic is having he would have an extra 10 ppg by just free throws and ESPN and Media would say crap like Lebron James has the best year ever..

  34. Riding Solo

    April 8, 2021 at 1:16 pm

It’s not only Jokic but all the Nuggets. MPJ and Jamal were disrespected on ESPN under 25 list.. I hope they win a chip because then ESPN will praise them and bandwagon fans Will come

  35. Riding Solo

    April 8, 2021 at 1:17 pm

Last night Donovan Mitchell scores 40 on 35 plus shots. He so would not fit nuggets system or culture of sharing the Ball. He is a ball hog and Jamal Murray is better anyway

  36. archyleach

    April 8, 2021 at 1:38 pm

Is getting hit on the top of the head during a dunk a foul? I mean I would think so, but I am not sure.

  37. archyleach

    April 8, 2021 at 1:45 pm

Embiid too many free throws from flopping and Jokic too few free throws through not flopping. Plus Jokic makes the team work and deflates his own stats by being a team player and has missed zero games and has overall better shooting percentage than Embiid. Give him the mvp trophy already.

i’m still trying to figure out why the the spurs can’t win games. nothing they’re doing makes any sense. lamarcus is gone. so do the spurs decide to replace his production/minutes with…. giorgi dieng? really? why? he played 10 minutes, went 1-4 (0-2 3pt) with 3 pts. so let me get this straight. lamarcus adds the 3pt shot to his game and the spurs decide it wasn’t working/good enough. they go out and sign giorgi dieng, who for some reason, has the green light to shoot 3s even though he’s been on the team less than a month. meanwhile, you have young player in samanic who is faster than lamarcus, more talented/versatile than dieng AND—-can shoot the 3 just as well, if not, better than both of them—-sitting on the bench. no plan to develop him. no plan to try and get him meaningful minutes. no plan to see if and how he can possibly help the team. makes no sense. it’s like the spurs think loading up on veteran players is going ot somehow get them over this hump. it’s not going to happen!! tim, manu and tony are gone. they were a special group. what they were able to accomplish in 2014 at their respective ages as a trio will probably never happen again in this game. stop trying to recreate the past and committ to the guys that you have/and drafted. with a team this talented—–losing to teams at the bottom of the standings is bllsht. and nobody sees/feels the need to do anything differently.
