I don’t deny that embiid is an animal but the amount of soft fouls he got compared to the blatant fouls he committed that were not called against the wolves was ridiculous

In what world is he playing better than Kahwi?

*Embiid is frontrunner right now, but it could all change by the end of the season. That’s what happened to Jokic last year; he was frontrunner until Nuggets started losing games towards the end and it left a bad taste for voters.*

I’ll take the guy with 28 triple doubles. Far better all around player.

    BACK2BACKMVP🔜

So the “clear” MVP should be faking inj to not face C’s, Denver and other tough matchups just so his stats dont suffer ? Interesting way of thinking for sure, i have to say. I guess the crying/begging to gift him a 2nd MVP has started, now we need Perk and others to follow so that the disrespect for Giannis, Luka, SGA and ofc. Joker is full …

Avging 35 with dpoy level defence

Even advanced stat fanboys cant even deny he is the MVP

Too early man take it easy!
Not even 30 games and he is 0-1 vs giannis so far let’s see what gonna happen for the rest of the szn if he stay healthy vs jokic ,Luca, giannis,

  14. @TheSuperman.

    December 22, 2023 at 10:36 am

0:33 That argument doesn’t make any sense. Nikola Jokic is the only player in NBA history to record 10 plus triple doubles in 7 consecutive seasons. To say Joel Embiid is the unanimous MVP for doing something in 10 consecutive games makes no sense. This season Embiid did something that hasn’t been done since xyz person, while Jokic (in this same season) did something that has never been done.

    December 22, 2023 at 11:33 am

Giannis same numbers..and a better team record..too early to say something like this

He is the best player on this planet and mabe like 6 others planets 😂😂😂😂

  17. @willgriffith3460

    December 22, 2023 at 12:14 pm

He’s still got 50 games to duck the competition in. Dude is soft and always has been.

    December 22, 2023 at 2:39 pm

As long as embiid is dominating, marc gasol is sitting pretty in Barcelona waiting on that call from a team 🤣🤣🤣🤣

    December 22, 2023 at 4:51 pm

Those stats were mostly against the Hornets, Wizards, and Pistons. lmao gtfo 🤣

    December 22, 2023 at 11:27 pm

Wait so last year Jokic wasn’t the mvp because he didn’t have playoff success. What has Embiid ever done in the playoffs?

  21. @aztecgoji

    December 23, 2023 at 6:49 pm

So last season when they held playoff success over Jokic it was fair game. But Embiid hasn’t even been out of the second round and nobody is talking about that

    • @djkido316

      December 24, 2023 at 2:56 am

They won’t philly is bigger market then denver and has a massive albeit illogical fanbase.

    December 24, 2023 at 4:21 am

Bla bla bla same year after year when comes to the playoffs he’ll be hurt again

It’s not a crime to be a sidekick. It’s ok nothing wrong with that.

Some fun Joel Embiid playoff facts:

The best team he’s beaten in the playoffs is the 2022 5th seed Raptors led by Siakam and FVV

He averages 22 PPG on 49.2% TS in elimination games(a 9 game sample size)

In NO playoff run has he ever averaged more assists than turnovers

He is the ONLY MVP in league history to never make the conference finals

This year, he had the biggest PPG drop from the RS to the playoffs of any MVP winning season

He turned the ball over 8 times in back to back elimination games against the Hawks in 2021

He’s shot under 20% from three over his last two playoff runs

He had a worse eFG% than Russell Westbrook during the 2023 playoffs

With a chance to go up 3-1, Joel Embiid went 0-12 in the second half against the 5 seeded Hawks in game 4, including missing a wide open layup to take the lead

He got stripped by Danilo Gallnari to seal the loss in game 7

Down 3 in game 5 of the same series with 15 seconds left, he missed BOTH free throws to seal the game

All of his offensive numbers(PPG, RPG, APG, TOs, FG%, 3P%, FT%) are worse in the playoffs than in the regular season aside from FT%

He has only won ONE playoff series in his career where he played in all four wins(2022 vs. Toronto)

He is 0-3 in game 7s and has posted a 49% TS and 5.3 TOs a game in those 3 games

He once got swept in a series despite averaging FIFTEEN free throws per game(2020 vs. Boston)

Over the last two seasons, he has a 9.2 BPM in the regular season(box plus minus) and a 1.0 BPM in the playoffs

WORST OF ALL: HE IS 9/38 IN CLUTCH(within 5 points, last 5 minutes by NBA definition) SITUATIONS DURING HIS PLAYOFF CAREER, WITH AN UNFATHOMABLE TS% of 35.7%

Good, give him all of those MVPs only for him to choke in the 2nd round
    Again!!🤣🤣🤣
