Honestly, the basketball fans that see how SGA uses his pace, dribble and footwork to make All-NBA defenders look like they are lost on the court shows that he is a must watch in terms of basketball purity. There are games where he doesn’t look like this, but when he moves this way it reminds me of Kobe Bryant, who basically created his game from Michael Jordan.

The different ways in which he gets to his spots in the midrange is so fun to watch. Everything is so smooth.

People complained about three-ball, then complained about Shai, who is the closest thing to Kobe that we’ve seen in recent years. Hell, with the numbers he’s been putting up this playoff run, he’s channeling Jordan, but he gets slandered as a free throw merchant? Make it make sense fam, and don’t whine about foul-baiting. He draws contact and capitalizes, just like all the greats did and do.

The Wolves made Shai work for his buckets in this game, but he kept the team on track down the stretch (late turnover notwithstanding).

I like Shai but his offensive game is built on drawing fouls and free throws. Whenever hw has the ball he is throwing his body at the defender, extended his arms and hooking and etc.
