We found a similar player to Duncan Robinson but I think Sam Merrill has a better potential. I hope Bates and Merrill will be on cavs roster and rotation.

we know that emoji bates will spend a lot of time with the charge this year. my question is, how much time will sam Merrill? if his destiny in the nba is to be a catch & shoot guy, then why waste his time with the charge this year. get him on the bench with the cavs and PLAY HIM meaningful minutes.

Emoni needed this experience & motivation, i think he let the spotlight get to him young and he didn’t have that hunger as much.
