    She did all she was supposed to do on her exit. They don’t interview the loser on court for games at this level. All of them walk and just wave as they leave. They interview the winner on court. They have other matches waiting to start.

    I’m not a big fan of Sabalenka, but she did nothing wrong here. She knew the moment belonged to her opponent, grabbed her stuff, and acknowledged the crowd upon her exit. Why the unnecessary criticism??
