Leading the NBA in assists doesn’t say everything. Step curry doesn’t have a lot of assists, doesn’t mean he’s a ball hog, there is just a lot of ball movement in the golden state offense. Westbrook is nearly always the last or second to last person to touch the ball on offense

For people thinking you can’t be a ball hog with assists then you don’t watch Westbrook play. There is a difference between facilitating and looking for assists. Just like Gilbert Arenas said most championship teams point gaurds usually only averaged 5-7 assists and that’s because instead of holding the ball looking to set people up they just ran the offense and assists came naturally. Their are a few gaurds to get 10+ assists and win like Magic and Isiah but there aren’t a lot if you think about it.
