LeBron will either defend it because he’s there on time, foul the guy mid air, or not challenge for it. He avoids getting dunked on as much as possible. He once famously got dunked on by a high school player at one of his camps and together with Nike tried to get the tape scrubbed until they realised how that was more embarrassing than the dunk itself (which wasn’t even that bad).

MJ will always be better than Lebron but these two examples aren’t good ones. (1) No one cares about dunking on a guard, and (2) that worked out terrible for that clown Dillon Brooks. I’m actually surprised they want to dunk on Lebron since half of the time he just watches the opposing player.
