Reacting to Steph Curry’s spirited return to the Golden State Warriors | The Jump

Published

on

Brian Windhorst, Malika Andrews and Mike Wilbon react to Stephen Curry’s spirited return to the Golden State Warriors. They then (2:17) debate whether Steph’s opponent on the night, the Toronto Raptors, have the 2019-20 NBA Coach of the Year favorite in Nick Nurse, or if the likes of Memphis Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins or Oklahoma City Thunder coach Billy Donovan have a claim to the award.

It Nick Nurse… 100%…raps have over 200+ missed man games due to Injuries…only team with that many injuries and still have a winning record…

Nurse is your coach of the year

Wait a minute, can someone please tell me why Frank Vogel isn’t in this conversation?? Toronto are the defending champions, so why is it so surprising that they have a good record this season? They’ve been one of the top teams in the East for at least the last 3 seasons. Don’t act like Kawhi carried this team to the finals all by his lonesome. You have to recognize Frank Vogel for what he’s been able to do at the Lakers. The Lakers haven’t even made the playoffs in how many years??

FOR CASUALS ONLY – POSTED 3/07/2020

I will try to end this? Kerr’s vision is a roster that can run the top 4 Western Division teams off the court which worked well without KD. Barring a roster altering trade, it will be Chriss (hold on casuals), Green, Wiggins, Thompson and Curry. With the second pick in the NBA DRAFT the GSW take Anthony Edwards (hold on casuals). Either Hawks or Knicks draft Obi Toppin and you see Meyers trade Edwards for Toppin and a unprotected 2021 first round pick. Toppin is a 6.9” PF who plays 70% of his time at the 5. Toppin is STRONG, runs the court, spreads the floor, finish at the rim, get his own shot, moves and handles the ball and plays defense that can switch everything! Now Meyers has one more pick to cash-in on the Giannis lottery if it ever happens! YOUR TURN NOW CASUALS! TELL ME WHY THE WARRIORS WILL DRAFT WISEMAN if he is on the board?

This man is physical evidence of what a true MVP looks like. It’s not about the guy who makes the most points. IT EVIDENT that this man ELEVATES the spirits, confidence, and output of his team. A TRUE MVP. This man misses 50 games and outshines James Harden in under 29 minutes.
