Honestly as a raptors fan, despite having no Ingram, Barnes and potel and then rj leaving the fourth with a left ankle sprain, we still played pretty well and honestly the past years our bench was absolute shit but this game, everyone stepped up and our bench has been better this year. Once we get all of our starters back, we will be dangerous.
Props to the Celtics tho the did outplay us in situations like at the third and when Pritchard just kept scoring in the 4th with 2 mins left on the quarter.
Good game Celtics, hopefully we can win against the sixers 🤞

I’ve been asking that from day 1, but they’re doing it their way and the Celts are somehow at 24=13. So maybe they actually know what to do more than we fans. Doesn’t make any sense to me. But as long as they keep winning at this pace, it doesn’t matter. Also, there’s a decent chance that Tatum can actually come back and ease himself back into shape before the season ends. If the Celts can play .650 ball and then add an MVP candidate level player like Tatum? Other NBA teams better take notice.

He can’t do it every game. But I swear that Peyton Pritchard has a secret gear that he can sometimes hit. When he gets into that zone, he magically becomes one of the most unstoppable scorers in the league. He can hit it from 3, he can drive and somehow lay the ball up against guys 6 inches taller, and he can cross dribble and stop and go and then suddenly he’s shooting that turnaround anywhere from 8 to 15 feet and it doesn’t look like any defender can stop him. They are terrified that he will go around them, but as they are backing up on defense, suddenly Pritchard is jumping back with that stop and pop shot that seemingly never misses. As I said, he can’t do it every game. But he sure is hard to stop when he feels it.

This is honestly the last NBA I ever watch, even though the Raptors had a depleted squad they were on par with the Celtics. How in the world does JB alone shoot more FT’s than the entire Raptors team? Team is over .500 yet almost every team they play shoot more ft’s than them and more than half the games by double digits. The refs are absolutely garbage, yes the Raptors were suppose to lose this game but take the names off the Jerseys and the Raptors are a lot closer than the score indicates. I’m not complaining just about this game but overall. Everytime they would make a run or the momentum starts to shift you get the most dogshit calls against them. Only the Raptors get this type of bs, like last year vs the Lakers, outplays them, Lebron getting shut down and Lakers shoot 23 ft’s in the 4th quarter alone to the Raptors 2. A team without Embiid and the 76ers shoot over 50fts in a game that the Raptors won btw and they only got the extra 8 fts in garbage time. League is a fcuking joke.

Look at Brown’s stat line, this is why he’s better than Tatum. Because he gets his teammates involved and doesn’t just come down and jack up dumb 3’s.
If Tatum comes back and plays the same style of jacking up a hundred 3’s a game we need to trade him for team players.
We need Tatum to master the mid-range like Jordan did and make his teammates better. If not see you later. He thinks too much about his own stat line instead of helping the team. And i don’t like players like that. We got enough 3pt shooters. What we don’t have is players with mid-range and who can take it to the rim. That’s what we need from him.
