Even if we played well I think the pistons would take the W you rarely will beat a team shooting 50% from 3. The sad part is this was the perfect game to have others show what they can contribute if needed, all we found out is there’s a decent number of players we don’t need on the roster next season.

That starting lineup for raptors was bad! Start Boucher! We are down players and your best decision is to start wattanabe and baynes, Smhhh and we didn’t even play donte hall. What was the point of bringing them up from the G league, now that can’t even play their game schedule today, it was a big waste.

Hard to expect the Raptors to beat really anyone when they right now only have 2 players who can do anything on offense. I can’t include Boucher because he’s still a very limited offensive player who basically can’t do anything off of the dribble and can only score his points with offensive rebounds, rolling to the basket or spotting up from 3. Other then that Raptors basically at all times had 3 guys on the floor that you don’t even need to bother covering. As Johnson, Watanabe, Baynes, Bembry and Watson aren’t factors at all on offense. Real problem was the bench who where terrible in this game as it started getting out of hand as soon as the Raptors went to it with the Pistons bench killing them evident 3 bench players had -20. Odd thing was that for once Baynes was the much much better option at center in this game. Some will look at Boucher 18pts and 8reb and think he clearly outplayed Baynes who had 13pts and 4reb. But Boucher was a game worst -24 while on the floor while Baynes was only a -4 so the team was playing much better when Baynes was on the floor. Powell was really the only person he showed up in this game. I mean Lowry wasn’t bad or anything but 21pts just was never gonna cut it when your down so many players. While Powell was great again going for 36pts one off of his career high and was a great 14 for 20 from the field so not only did they need to lean on Powell but he was highly efficient.

Davis to me was the biggest disappointment he had a real chance to play well and prove he should be getting more minutes in the rotation. But he was a terrible 2 for 11 from the field forcing terrible shots and committed 3TO as well.

If the Raptors in the west they will be 11th seed and missing the playoffs. The good years are behind them. Well, with the Covid protocol they will for sure miss the playoffs. It takes 3 weeks to quarantine. Season is over. They have a lot young players and this team would look different next season. Playoff contention and championship hopes is over. No more high hopes or high expectations. Oh well nothing last forever. It also sucks that the fact no superstar want to sign in Toronto during free agency. The disadvantage being the only Canadian team in the NBA. You never going to win a title without a true superstar that is the reality. The sad reality they can end up like the Maple Leafs with no championship for 51 years. As long no supertstar wants to sign in Toronto that is 100 percent going to happen. Back to mediocrity!
