Well if this does end up being the last game of the season, at least it was a good one for the Sixers.

@toya tom That feeling when the sixers are so godlike at home that playing at home is considered a crutch now

    • Nolan Simard

      March 12, 2020 at 10:57 am

@Redwarrior11 its because theyre dismal on the road. Being at home isnt a crutch so much as not being on the road is

@Nolan Simard being at home = not being on the road?

      March 12, 2020 at 1:41 am

@hamhockbeans no…its Ben Simmons who will 100% healthy when we restart. He could even have a set back now, and still come back 100% when it starts.

this is good for our Sixers. NBA being suspended gives us time to get our team back in shape. without Simmons we’re Ass

I heard the rest of the season is cancelled. At least I won’t see the Pistons lose every game now.

    • Matthew Szerlag

      March 12, 2020 at 12:40 am

@Amanda they’re not really tanking yet. The team is playing about as well as they have all season. At this point, they’re preparing to tank.

    • John Pestano

      March 12, 2020 at 1:21 am

@Amanda i don’t like tanking either to me it’s a cheat just to secure a top 5 pick and no guarantee that top pick turns out to be something. but for us we have been mediocre for so long this was the best thing DET could have done. trading away Dre and his $28 million player option for next season which he would have picked up would have crippled our finances to retool this roster this summer. and RJ was on a expiring deal he wasn’t coming back the fact is injuries hurt our season. if we were healthy we wouldn’t have done this but we never got healthy. our best player Blake career best 23 PPG a season ago DET MVP never look right his knees was a problem and ultimately he got shut down. so tanking to me was the best thing we could have done we needed to go young and develop this core. plus i feel Pistons interim GM Ed Stefanski will pick a impact player in the top 5 he’s smart and i trust our FO.

    • Amanda

      March 12, 2020 at 1:30 am

@John Pestano hi John. No doubt, our injured team caused us to have a bad season. I just believe every team should play to win, regardless of tanking. I hope Ed does make a smart move to get good picks.

    • John Pestano

      March 12, 2020 at 1:59 am

@Amanda for sure and to address tanking again i don’t like losing games on purpose. in sports you play to win always no matter the circumstances.

He’ll be fine. For an athlete like Gobert, the chances of dying from the virus would be extremely low. In higher-risk people, it might be as high as 5 percent.
