Tyson and Pickett are ready. This is Strawther’s only good game; he didn’t play well in his other three games.

He is going to get so many good looks playing with Jokic. Give him all the Jeff Green minutes right away

    • Chucky Martin

      July 15, 2023 at 1:10 am

@Nathaniel Theres no way he’s getting all the Jeff Green minutes straight away, takes time for Malone to trust rookies

    • Michael Roche

      July 15, 2023 at 9:07 am

He’ll get playing time if someone gets hurt thats for sure but I dont see him taking minutes from Čančar

      July 15, 2023 at 12:32 pm

@Rochey0 idk, last year during that stretch where uncle Jeff was injured, chucky played great, but the second Jeff was back vlatko got benched again. I don’t think malone likes him for whatever reason

    • TomSL

      July 15, 2023 at 3:33 pm

@Michael Roche Vlatko wasn’t really trusted to begin with last season. Especially the second half of it. And it’s not necessarily being a rookie with Malone, it’s about maturity. Hunter and Pickett are 24 this year, they’re rookies only by branding.. they’re gonna get their dues

This might be a bit over the top after 1 game, but Tyson’s play looks similar to a young Hayward

Agreed. He even has that Hayward F U about him.

    Bruce Brown who?

    • Jelena Stanić

      July 15, 2023 at 8:07 am

Defense? Even if they can replace him offensively in the league, which is quite questionable, they can’t replicate his defence. Bruce Brown is a big miss.

Nuggets get the most out of 2nd rounders and two way contract guys.
Slawther is a shooter but Hunter S. Tyson really shined throughout. Looks like one of Rick Barry’s younger sons.

Once these kids learn how to play in Jokic’s offense, they’re going to be deadly for the Nuggets.

Now imagine if Jokic is on their rotations? Nuggets can be in a verge of a title repeat while being a force to reckon with!
