I think this is a game that really illustrates how valuable Jokic is to the team. You immediately notice the gap in competitiveness when he’s absent. That’s why he’s the real MVP.

Luka ALWAYS looks big, slow and out of shape. but this is the nba… you know teams can (and have) alter their play to make one of their players look like a star. so… we have no choice but to believe that luka is unstoppable. 🙄

I understand exactly why JJ was pissed at the half while his team is up 15. He’s talking about the kind of habits that won’t work in the playoffs–getting ahead and the loosening up on defense. Every time I see Luka go off with a series of great moves I remember why he’s a legend already; every time I see him swipe casually at a ballhandler like he’s not responsible for defense in any way, I remember why Dallas traded him. I know ya’ll saw it. He’s looking like he’s been in the gym w/LeBron, tho lmao
