After Kobe Bryant, for me it was Demar DeRozan. Ppl can say whatever they want about him and talk about his shortcomings if they feel the need to do so. But the fact he is even still balling at the level he is at and about to go on to his 13th straight season of averaging +20ppg is nothing short of HOF worthy.
Plays basketball where he doesn’t even rely on his athleticism over his intangibles at his age, and its still at the point where dudes can’t stop and bite on pumpfakes even after their coaches tell them nights before not to jump while playing ALOT of minutes at 36. Fantastic player who understands his role and can even shoot 3s even though people act like he can’t, as a spurs fans both kings fans and bulls fans have also seen Demar shoot and make the three ball so most of the talk is casuals. When you compare how some of these guys extort teams of max contracts like pg and kawhi, Demar been taking paycuts for the squad since the Raptors days. Thats why NOBODY says nothing bad about him as a teammate Debo, what a legend can’t wait for the Raptors to hang his jersey🔥
