Bro all those guards wasn’t passing to him cuz they Tryna earn a contract. It’s damn near every man for himself during SL

He’s gonna be a bust, Idek why he’s projected number 1. No bag, usually is having a set shot. Too slow, can’t compete with nba defense. Bad shot selection, will be exposed by nba player length on defense. BIGGEST BUST IF PICKED NUMBER 1

Most of his highlights seem to be shots and he is a bad finisher at the rim. He will barely have successful drives to the rim in the nba with nba level defense. RED FLAGS CONSIDERING HE IS A POWER FORWARD

Its the first game but there’s a lot of concerns. You can’t rely on wide open shots to be the only way you score we wasn’t looking for a role player. Plus, on defense we didn’t stop one person. He needs a couple of moves he can go to when time is running down on the clock, from what I can see he’s only a catch and shoot player. That’s not what we were expecting, he needs a lot of work.

I feel like he’s only as good as the system he plays in like he’s a great piece if you know how to use him but him playing with all these guys the rockets have right now idk how much he’ll be able to shine. I can see why he may have dropped to #3 as both banchero and chet are better shot creators and play makers.

Am I the only Rocket’s fan that was pissed off the whole game because Nix and Lamb were out there ballhogging, missing and taking most of the shots, and couldn’t even shoot a freethrow? Meanwhile Jabari, TYTY, and Tari were barely getting the ball… SMFH get those 2 dudes out of there asap bro. You’d think after playing real NBA minutes with the Rockets they would of put up numbers like Josh Christopher was doing, but if anything, they were a LIABILITY ALL GAME.

Reminds me so much of Chris Bosh coming out. Polished offensively, not super athletic, but enough to hold down his position, pure shooting form.

Jabari did look alot more comfortable in the 2nd half and I feel with better guard play and running more plays for him he could look alot better, especially when the jumper doesn’t fall. Summer League is pretty notorious for selfish play so player archetypes who aren’t great 1v1 players like Smith tend to struggle. Still 4 more games to figure it out
Aside from his offense, Jabari’s defense was very solid.
