Itโs announcer didnโt even mention how she collapsed. He said oh the upset tournament and Iโm only even think I heard him name the other tennis player during the match.

Per this highlight reel Sabalenka only lost one point and somehow managed to lose the match. Pretty convenient how they scrub through the collapse on the third set.

How is she number 1 sheโs not consistent at all

You casuals have no clue. She’s incredibly consistent. Look at the number of SFs she’s made over the last 2 years in the events she’s been in. Eight major finals, a slew of SFs, always making at least the QF unless injured. Look at the huge ranking points lead she had coming in to this year. She lost straight up today, but EVERYONE loses. Look at Rybakina for less consistency, as well as Gauff, Iga, Anisimova….

Sabalenka has been the player to best in virtually every tournament for many months now. Everytime she loses it is an upset because she is at the TOP of rankings

Womens tennis has been so- so since Serena retired
Neither Iga nor Sabalenka have ever struck me as an All Time great champions

Whichever coaches teach this shrieking on every swing should be jailed. Throw away the key. And of course these weak minded girls will buy into anything, so you folks won’t blame them. And do they think they have to pump their fist on every point so that everyone can notice what a great shot they just made? Look at me, look at me!

This is quite a shocking result as it seemed like the title was Sabalenka’s to lose given the line up remaining. I thought the final would be Sabalenka vs Kostyuk.
