Nikola Jokic has now recorded his 7th triple-double of the 2023 Playoffs, tying Wilt Chamberlain (1967) for most Triple-Doubles in a single postseason.

Nikola Jokic is the 1st player in NBA history with 4 consecutive 20-point triple-doubles in the Playoffs

Nikola Jokic joins Wilt Chamberlain (04/09/1967 – 04/11/1967) as the only players in NBA history to record back-to-back Playoff games of 20+ points, 15+ rebounds, and 10+ assists.

Nikola Jokic is now the 2nd player in NBA history to record four consecutive Triple-Doubles in the Playoffs, joining:
Wilt Chamberlain: 4 Games (04/09/1967 – 04/16/1967)

Nikola Jokic (57 points, 38 rebounds, 26 assists) is the only player in NBA history to record 55+ points, 35+ rebounds, and 20+ assists over a 2-game span in the Playoffs.

Nikola Jokic recorded his 13th career triple-double in the Playoffs, passing Russell Westbrook (12) for 3rd most all-time:
Magic Johnson: 30
LeBron James: 28
Nikola Jokic: 13
Russell Westbrook: 12

Led by Jamal Murray’s 37 points (23 in the 4th quarter), 10 rebounds, and 5 assists, the Denver Nuggets defeated the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 2, 108-103. Nikola Jokic added 23 points, 17 rebounds, and 12 assists for the Nuggets in the victory, his 4th consecutive Triple-Double and his 7th of the Playoffs, while LeBron James tallied 22 points, 9 rebounds, and 10 assists for the Lakers. The Nuggets lead this best-of-seven series, 2-0, with Game 3 taking place on Saturday, May 20 (8:30 p.m. ET, ABC).

a couple months ago one of my friends said jokic didnt deserve mvp, and he didnt like him, because “he was boring”. Im still mad about that comment.

it is maybe the most impressive passing i’ve ever seen. i know it looks simple but how often he passes the ball BEFORE the guy is even open is amazing. I mean I hardly saw that from magic, larry, pistol, kidd, chris paul, nash, jason williams. I maybe saw it a lot from John Stockton, but i fee like that was mostly in set plays still.
