Led by Nikola Jokic’s 29 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists, the No. 1 seed Denver Nuggets defeat the No. 4 seed Phoenix Suns in Game 5, 118-102. Bruce Brown (25 points, 5 rebounds) and Jamal Murray (19 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists) added a combined 44 points in the victory. Devin Booker (28 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists) and Kevin Durant (26 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists) combined for 54 points for the Suns. The Nuggets lead the best-of-seven series, 3-2, with Game 6 taking place on Thursday, May 11 (10:00 p.m. ET, ESPN).

Hugo González contributed a team-high 24 points to go with 10 rebounds 5 assists and 3 three pointers, with John Tonje of the Celtics adding an additional 18 points (6-11 FG, 3-8 3P) in the game. Alex Karaban finished with a team-high 21 points along with 8 rebounds for the Kings in the losing effort. The Celtics improve their record to 2-1 with the win, while the Kings fall to 1-2 for the season.
