This is on the coach Alvin Gentry for subbing his own run down! He is coaching a system and not the game, you have to coach the game..

It’s past time for Gentry to go.

Ball has fixed his shot you can obviously see that I thought it was somebody else shooting that open 3 . He just needs to keep shooting at practice free throws too

Pells absolutely worsed coached team in league. No hustle, no D, horrible rotations, Okafor on bench which is ridiculous, and what they have on O is completely player instead of coach driven.

The thing about these young Pelicans to be honest, if they play their cards right, they are going to be working with a truck load of talent somewhere in the near future………. They have some really good young players….. They just need time to mesh and learn how to play winning basketball

The thing I like about these young warriors is they are learning the do’s and dont’s of the game. Yes we lose but it’s usually at the very end of a game so I’m not upset over the loses. These young guys are learning and I’m hyped to see how much better they get in the future! It’s fun watching them play.

I would make Lonzo a shooting guard, make him focus like crazy on his three point shooting and becoming a defensive superstar. The guy has high basketball IQ but you can’t run the point if you’re not already a great natural shooter and you’re not athletic enough at the rim and can’t shoot free throws.

Lonzos shooting is getting better but he’s definitely not all there yet;I’ll agree with you there. But your point on the fact that point guards have to be athletic at the rim is pretty dumb honestly. I’d say being crafty at the rim is one thing being able to have the quick pass or shoot option but you don’t have to have russel Westbrook athleticism to be a great point guard their job isn’t muscling out defenders a foot taller than them at the rim so athleticism isn’t as big of a deal for point guards.
