Trendon and Tyrese chirping. Trendon told Tyrese “you having a down year” and that wasn’t lip reading. I heard that on the hot mic when players were shaking hands. It’s funny because the only reason I know Trendon Watford is because his brother Christian Watford played college ball at IU and he hit that game winning shot against Kentucky way back in 2011. Trendon can go back to Brooklyn with 2 straight L’s vs. the Pacers.

@@rsmith317I heard that too. From what I could read, Haliburton was talking about how the nets lost, and Watford replied saying “you guys are a playoff team” which confused Haliburton because it’s more of a compliment than anything. That’s all that I caught.

If you’re Indiana the final score is a lil too close for comfort. They’ve gotta be better at closing out teams like Brooklyn down the stretch.

    • @PlusheesRl

      March 22, 2025 at 10:01 pm

Not too worried about it. Indy struggles with the bad teams but generally goes even or wins against the good and elite teams. Teams like the Nets won’t be in the playoffs

Great effort from us, trying to come back down 20 in the 4th on that 21-2 run….after we cut it to 1, we just lost all our poise on offense. We tried making it closer in the last minute cuting it down from 9 to 1 in 20 seconds but Tyrese picked two tough fouls….

But Trendon had much a needed boun back, 26 points on 9/14 and i gotta get a lip reading on him and tyrese trash talking at the end
