I think the reason why NE Ohio is really gravitating to this Cavs team is because they are far exceeding all expectations that we had coming into the year. This win against the Nets was victory #27. In the three previous years after LeBron James left the second time, CLE had win totals of 19, 19, and 22.

Cleveland has always loved scrappy overachievers and this team exemplifies that notion. The fan base has re-embraced Kevin Love as he has flourished coming off the bench shooting 41% from beyond the arc. Darius Garland, pushed into the floor leadership role due to Sexton’s injury has performed at an all-star level. Coach Bickerstaff is pushing most of the right buttons. Isaac Okuro may give you 15 points or he may give you 5 points, but you know he is going to lock down whoever he is guarding.

The core of Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen, and Evan Mobley could (and should) be together for the next 5 to 7 years. Put the right pieces around them and they can contend for deep playoff runs.

Scariest thing is cavs Jarrett Allen is 23. Mobley is 20. Garland is 21. Okoro is 20. Markennen is 24. This is just the beginning. A lot of the other good teams out there have stars past their prime. Plus we got an owner ready to open his wallet any time if need be. ☺️!! Go Cavs it only goes up from here.

There is no excuse the cavs won playing smart ball and playing good D and gerald should be an all star player this year.
