400 days since i quit smoking weed. Even when smoking, i knew smoke was bad for the body. My excuse to keep going was “well it helps keep me sane, it helps me sleep, it helps when i feel depressed, alcohol is much worse than smoking.” I understand marijuana has its place, consumed in certain methods. But to me, it was all just excuses. Im not perfectly healthy now but i have made progress. I also know now i have the will power to achieve difficult goals.

@WhereAreYouNowKPi was functional too. Worked a 9-5, bills paid on time, ran 7 miles a day etc. However it made me complacent in not reaching my fullest potential in life. After 20 years straight of being high, it took a huge toll on my memory and brain function in certain ways that are proven to be true for most people. Youre lucky if you smoke that long and it has had absolutely 0 negative side effects. With all that said, i will get high again thru edibles one day, but for now, taking a long break.
