    At the time of this top50 list, only Pete Maravich had passed away (just 40 years old). Now, for the top75, Paul Arizin, Elgin Baylor, Wilt Chamberlain, Dave DeBusschere, Hal Greer, John Havlicek, Sam Jones, Moses Malone, George Mikan, Dolph Schayes, Bill Sharman, Nate Thurmond, and Wes Unseld… are no longer with us. And then of course Kobe Bryant, selected now for the 75th anniversary team and not here to see it, similar to Pistol Pete (Kobe died just one year older, at 41). RIP to all of them

    I’ve never seen one game between all these 50 pace-setting legends but seeing all of them in one video after hearing about them in documentaries, man, it’s something else. Something extraordinary, something epic.
