Everyone knows that, but society values white over a lot minorities. Most of these people today in modern day slavery: minorities because society values their lives less than the majority even when it’s the minorities who help push society forward. You can work as hard as you possibly can but sometimes it’s the unseen that inevitably holds you down. It’s only been a little over a century since slavery and the Civil Rights movement. There are still people who think the way they did back then. Plus, every major historical event has its repercussions, and that’s what simply is today’s times.
