mikal’s sudden rise makes one wonder just how many potential superstars out there who just never get the chance to showcase their talent

    • Ben Aldridge

      March 5, 2023 at 7:56 pm

exactly. think of chauncey billups and ben wallace languishing on other teams before detroit. In washington they even tried turning ben wallace into a guard! lol!

There’s a misconception in basketball that because a player averages less points than their teammates that they are that much worse than those other players. In reality the best players get so much more usage because they are more efficient by a percentage in the single digits most of the time.

He looks like a mini Kevin Durant. Even their shooting form is similar πŸ₯΅

I like that he has a good mid range game. That’s actually what I wanted Ben Simmons to have

He reminds me of KD for some reasonπŸ˜‚ They are both pretty skinny with similar shooting form

    March 5, 2023 at 8:17 pm

I did not know he could really put the ball on the floor like that but I knew he can get his mid and three off but now he has to work for his shots way more and he looks incredible KD ESC I SAY

    March 5, 2023 at 8:48 pm

Y’all are gonna call me crazy but Bridges moves and pulls up like a young KD. It’s scary if he keeps this up

    • QWERTY Utopia

      March 5, 2023 at 9:33 pm

I think a more accurate comparison is Andrei kirelinko

    • Jeff Hardy

      March 5, 2023 at 9:38 pm

@QWERTY Utopia AK47 wasn’t really pulling up off the dribble like this. Defensively I can agree

    • QWERTY Utopia

      March 5, 2023 at 10:00 pm

@Jeff Hardy I actually think ak47 was widely underrated at the time because he played the 4 spot at a time with Duncan, kg, and dirk. His style was much more like a 3 and he had pretty good handles. We saw those when he played for the Russian team. The problem was he didn’t have the freedom back then to operate. Maybe we can agree that AK 47 is a better paint defender, Mikal is better on the perimeter, AK is a better passer and finisher while mikal is a better shooter. Very similar stylistically though.

    March 5, 2023 at 9:36 pm

Hes a future all star. I can see him avg 25/7/4 with good defense

  23. Jacey Gaither

    March 5, 2023 at 10:36 pm

Bro got traded for KD and turned into KD

  24. Sean Earvin

    March 5, 2023 at 10:50 pm

You know he is good, his primary role in phoenix is defense and occasional takeover when DBook is not working, but with Nets he and Spencer have a green light to shoot, this what Ben Simmons suppose to do when he got traded.. 🀣🀣
