Every generation has a goat π
@OmegaLevelEnt
March 9, 2026 at 6:22 pm
i 100% agree with Vince regarding the lack of respect from one generation to another. I’m 43 and when i was a teenager in the 90s and we talked about players we never disrespected players from the 80/70s/60/s etc. We held them in high regard. But you talk to a teenager or someone in their 20’s now and most of them think nobody was good before 2000. Like magically all the good players didnt come until after they were born π€£ Thats exactly why i dont even engage in the GOAT debate with someone under a certain age

You really donβt have to say what everyone already knows. He doesnβt have to pay himself on the back and say I am the best. 90% of the real basketball observers and fans know he is.

The Goat has officially become dumb, hate it or love it, the debate is subjective like everything else. It’s personal preference, only the idiots want to debate u and “attempt” shame or change your mind it’s disgusting

Athletes are just humans gifted by God himself who alone is great. Neither one of these players, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant or LeBron James are great or better than the other in my book. π Theyβre just talented athletes in which some may have a stronger drive to win more than others. Out of them all, Michael Jordan was the most successful in his era to establish an international brand name for himself while winning. Smart move. ππΌ Athletically, I place them all in the same category of good according to their eras.

5:49, the claim that only in basketball, there is animosity toward predecessors. That may be the case, but i certainly feel like it is something that has emerged with Lebron and his generation. Its telling how the real goats always respect their predecessors, and the next generation (Lebron and KD) want to claim goat status. Kobe and Jordan have always paid dues to those before them. Oldheads are always at the coolest table. You just have to accept and admire it, and try to be in their good graces; one day you will be in the same position.

Why do people always try to create their own narrative 100% Jordan did not say anything negative about LeBron but I guarantee they wish he did but he didn’t so your opinion does not matter you are not important a lot of people need to hear that even people in the media
@munstar888

Anit no goat. Only game changers. Curry, Shaq, Wilt, and magic changed the way the game was played

MJ is the goat and if we say someone is number 2,3,4,5 why is it disrespect if theyβre not considered number one donβt answer the question because I know we all would love to be considered number one but in this aspect number seven doesnβt even sound bad and weβre talking of all time
