the nba decided a few yrs back to let the offensive player use his off arm to create space. theyr penalizing good defense and rewarding bad offense.

Wendell Carter Jr. contributed a team-high 28 points to go with 6 rebounds 3 assists and 2 three pointers, with Desmond Bane of the Magic adding an additional 27 points (8-13 FG, 3-5 3P) and 5 assists in the game. Cooper Flagg finished with a team-high 51 points along with 6 rebounds for the Mavericks in the losing effort. The Magic improve their record to 41-36 with the win, while the Mavericks fall to 24-53 for the season.
