Luka had a few open opportunities which he passed out of, I swear he would average more if he became a little more aggressive on the drive.

I tip my hat to the Mavs for their defense on Trae Young. They were denying him the ball all night. Though I think it was an off night for Trae, they still did really good. Also I’m a Hawks fan.

@Pack Sate right and they were + 4 when Trae was on the court. -10 when he was off the court. Do you understand what that could mean?

He said the Mavs can’t guard the hawks big men. The highlights before that show the Mavs big men like KP dominating

  40. Dustin Barlow

    February 4, 2021 at 2:16 pm

Well shoot me dead, anyone that has been following my posts have known for weeks that I have said if you reduce Finneys minutes to under 30 a game, and increase Klebers to over 30 a game, you will win some games. I said Luka, THJ, Richardson, Kleber and KP are who should be out there during crunch time if we are serious about winning. The work that Kleber did on John Collins was all NBA Defensive worthy. I hope moving forward that Finney much like Powell continues to have his role reduced. In all honesty James Johnson really should be eating a lot of Finneys minutes, his defense is just as good, and he has a better offense. He was getting lit up by John Collins all game long, glad we switched Kleber on him at the end. DFS was making Kevin Huerter look like Chris Paul.

Imagine if Luka was on the Hawks and Trae was with the Mavericks, man, that’d be awkward af lol. They both fit in where they at because of their established cultures imho. Atlanta has the rappers and celebs who will show up for home games, so it works perfect with Ice Trae’s personality. Then ya got Luka over here in Dallas, doing Doncic style shit… everybody wins!

  48. Christopher Duncan

    February 4, 2021 at 10:31 pm

Dallas sorry asf they double team a 6’0 point guard all night with a 6’7 Richerson foward and 6’10 power foward and basically played a triangle and two. My Hawks are even worst they loss to gimmick defense and one of worst teams in the league. Perfect game for John Collins to win oh wait every time he leads us in scoring we loss. Trash first half trash second half Kevin and John don’t think basketball they play basketball both of them are walking turnovers.
