Laker videos will always get 200k to 400k views…mostly Lakers fans. But let’s keep it real. The Lakers have zero chance of winning a championship.

September 16, 2026 at 1:45 pm
They’ll be nice offensively but defensively we’re cooked
@broughd93
September 16, 2026 at 3:40 pm
I mean I’d say we better than last year defensively as we upgraded to Kessler, got length and defensive wings like Williams, Carr, Thybulle and grimes and sexton off bench
@babylonsouljah
September 16, 2026 at 6:15 pm
@broughd93don’t forget Adou Thiero
@broughd93
September 16, 2026 at 6:24 pm
@babylonsouljahfacts I love Adou I just hope he gets minutes
@MistaWordz
September 16, 2026 at 7:07 pm
@broughd93 Exactly. The Lakers went from having like 2 playable defenders (Vando and LaRavia each count as .5 😂) to having like 5 or 6
@stopsweating9519
September 16, 2026 at 1:47 pm
The 20 games they play together will be electric 🔥
@TheAndokid1
September 16, 2026 at 5:51 pm
just cause they both missed a lot of games this past season doesn’t mean it will happen 2 seasons in a row.

Can’t wait to see them play but lets remember that this is the start of the NBA social media team pushing the Lakers down our throats. It’s making me sick already.😂😂
@hoopFrameNBA
September 16, 2026 at 2:27 pm
That’s exactly why this season is so interesting 😂 Luka’s talent has never been the question the real question is whether THIS Lakers roster finally has the right pieces around him. Luka + Reaves could be must-watch basketball. ⚡🏀 🏀

@Marcus3291
September 16, 2026 at 5:48 pm
I re-watched some of the games from last Feb and March over this past weekend.
Some things I noted:
1. Lebron is really good. But the Lakers with Luka and AR looked more in sync.
2. JJ’s focus was clearly not defense. Kennard got a LOT of minutes at the 3.
3. Laravia had a big impact off the bench with his energy, movement, and offensive rebounding. His plus-minus must have been really good.
4. The Lakers won a lot of games with Ayton a no-show. He often sat second halves.
5. AR is better than I thought. He can get into the paint at will.
6. Vando isn’t that bad. He adds value
7. Marcus Smart got more wide-open looks than any player I’ve ever seen. I think opposing teams wanted him to shoot
8. The Lakers were able to be good defensively with inferior personnel because of effort and great defensive schemes.
@MistaWordz
September 16, 2026 at 7:15 pm
JJ had good defensive schemes. He just didn’t have great defensive personnel. Let’s see how it looks now that he essentially got multiple solid defenders to replace Rui, Ayton, and LeBron who were damn near liabilities on that end
@sicarium
September 16, 2026 at 8:37 pm
On 2, doesn’t matter defensively. Luka is a PG on offense, but not on defense. Dallas ran Josh Green at the 3 for the same reason. Slotting slides down. You’ll see the same thing this season with Grimes at the 3, but guarding 1s or 2s.
On 8, that contradicts your 2.
@Marcus3291
September 17, 2026 at 2:41 am
@sicarium His focus on defense was in the way of scheme, not personnel, apparently.
@sicarium
September 17, 2026 at 2:52 am
@Marcus3291That doesn’t even make sense. Redick is the head coach, not the GM. The scheme is what he controls.

oof. truth hurts. lets hope this season has a lot less complaining and a lot more getting back on defense and helping the team.

@Steven-ik6xx
September 17, 2026 at 4:35 am
People forget that the lakers started off hot last season WITHOUT LBJ. It was Reaves and Luka leading the way. We played faster and as a team. Now we will get an entire season of that, but this time with more youth, athleticism, shot creators, and a legit rim protector. Lakers will be good this year.
@TheAndokid1
September 17, 2026 at 5:40 pm
exactly, and people seemed to be bitching nonstop this past season when Luka and Reaves were out, but clearly forgetting that LeBron missed the first month of season when his back injury wasn’t even diagnosed from an MRI.

gona be great this season this duo. too bad we lost the goat now its a ssecond round exit. if these 2 even make it in the playoffs.
@TheAndokid1
September 17, 2026 at 5:37 pm
yeah well it was the first time Austin missed a playoff game in his career. not sure about Luka, and not sure if Austin can carry the offense in a playoff game if Luka is out.
@LastGambit23

They’re really good. All kinds of incredible shots and passes. Can they beat SA, OKC,Denver, 76ers, Miami, NY or the Celtics? They are good but are they title contenders? Two different conversations.
