Six games in the playoffs and he hasn’t done anything special, 13 points in each of his last two games. Instead of putting up incredible numbers as would be expected, they are fading. Generational? Best ever? 59 points for his team? Really?

@Muggamillstv He’s not in their class and we’ll see it next year. There is no one in that league who can make an NBA roster let alone start. He is not a great passer, doesn’t have the handle to get by men in front, has not shot the three well in over a month (probably around 20%) and plays like he is worn down, even though he has played half the games as he will in the NBA. He has more tos than assists and rarely gets a steal.
I would have expected in the playoffs he would do fantastic things but he hasn’t. Why isn’t he totally dominating the playoffs? He has scored, I think, 64 points in his last four games and not against Lopez, AD, Jokic, Embiid or Even Zubic.

@Michael Sevilla So you wouldn’t trade him for either? I would be concerned why he isn’t crushing it here as the season has gone along. It can’t be that he is worn out as he has played basically a half a NBA schedule and next year he is going to have 250-280 pound bigs leaning on him on both ends every other night. 64 points in his last 4 games is very disappointing but if starts to score 30 per game and dominates I’ll take it back.

@charles cohen I already explained why he’s not scoring 25 to 30 in his league and once he’s fully developed and bulked up he’ll start living up to the hype wemby will be fine in the nba period

@Michael Sevilla Michael, my point is that he came in the league at 18, and now after 7 months at 19 and a half, I don’t see any quantum improvement as one would expect. He was averaging 23 -24 earlier in the year while shooting 40% from 3, ( the hype was he was going to be Dirk) but the numbers have dropped, instead of going up. I think he will have big stamina problems playing twice as many games against much larger and quicker bigs. It will be fascinating who will be better, Victor or Chet.

It is normal, biggest prospect in years and if NBA hadn’t the right to broadcast Mets 92 LNB games, american audience would have only the two LV games as opportunities to see him play (while the other have coverage with G League or NCAA)

I wish people would stop saying he needs to bulk up and gain weight. Most bigs put on too much muscle and their frame can’t carry that weight and get injured. Tim Duncan lost weight and extended his career and they attribute that to slimming down. Them knees know what saying
