He’s a type of player that shines when u let them do their thing. Reason why hornets, timberwolves, and hawks (kinda decent in lakers the team was just bad) didnt work out for him.

Lance stephenson, jordan clarkson, lou will, jr smith, jamal crawford are the guys i can think of that are similar.

Popovich also really helped with allowing Manu to just be Manu. And also Spolstra giving Jimmy his freedom to play how he likes.

some legends got their legacy ruined by injuries like d.rose, tmac, penny, grant hill and then there are the lance and michael beasley who just didn’t work hard enough with all the skills and talent required to be at the top

I’m sorry but I’m legit asking, didn’t they both travel in those buckets? They didn’t dribble the ball after getting it.

I feel like Lance is single handedly going to make many more people watch Pacer games. I havent seen more than 5 mins of their games all season because they are so boring and just bleh….But with Lance…it’s going to be much more exciting.

Stephenson’s time in China as the primary ball handler and scorer for his team really polished his offensive game, even if the competition wasn’t nearly as good.
