The Phoenix Suns defeated the Los Angeles Lakers, 117-105. Deandre Ayton recorded 14 PTS and 11 REB for the Suns, while Chris Paul added 8 PTS and 11 AST in the victory. Anthony Davis tallied 14 PTS, 8 REB and 2 BLK for the Lakers, while Carmelo Anthony added 8 PTS in the losing effort.

The Suns improve to 1-1 in the preseason, while the Lakers fall to 0-2.
