The New York Knicks defeated the Detroit Pistons, 90-84, in their 2020 #NBAPreseason opener behind 15 PTS from R.J. Barrett and 11 PTS from rookie Obi Toppin. Svi Mykhailiuk and rookie Saddiq Bey led the Pistons in scoring with 14 PTS each, and Killian Hayes tallied 5 PTS, 3 AST and 2 STL in his NBA preseason debut for Detroit.
