Immanuel Quickley (32 PTS, 8 AST) and Obi Toppin (22 PTS, 9 REB) combined for 54 PTS for the Knicks as they defeated the Pacers, 94-86. Duane Washington Jr. led the way for the Pacers with 23 PTS (8-9 FG), while Chris Duarte, the No. 13 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft out of the University of Oregon, added 14 PTS and 3 AST in the losing effort. The Knicks improve to 1-1 in the Las Vegas Summer League, while the Pacers fall to 0-1.

      To begin the season he was RAW. A lot of potential but his game wasn’t caught up. I think it was experience. You can tell he has had his feet wet now and is ready to go…Hope we don’t trade him

      He was going to light up in those playoff, everytime he did, coach set him down. Toppin did better than Randle. By my sight. Not saying he is better, just seem like Toppin was ready for war.

      Last year he tried playing down hill every play, with increased minutes he realized this isn’t college bball and would need to develop patience with the ball. These last few drafts have been great!

    @2:19 Classic example of 2 brand new NBA players from different systems (Euro League vs. American college teams) not being on the same page defensively, Grimes going drop and switch whilst Vildoza goes man to man….As they learn the system and each other this will all work out.
