Wow what a game, 4 players had double doubles first time that has been done in a regulation game since 2003. Green went off looking amazing after all he’s been through, those dunks were nice.

GSW released Green after signing him to their G League roster. He did well enough, seems the kind of dog the Warriors could have used and on a cheap deal at that. But I suppose not?

they just waited for this guy to clear waivers when they could’ve made a fronted contract that could’ve saved them money in the long run and kept their sorry ass “continuity” bs philosophy. great w btw

Where did this Javante Green come from?

    • @jdh9676

      April 6, 2024 at 9:18 am

He was a very good college player but went undrafted. Instead of choosing the G League he played overseas. Celtics picked him up in 2019 and he landed on the Bulls post All Star break, 2021. He’s a good bench piece, very active. Can start some, too. Played a full season with the Bulls, went down with a bad injury the next season, required surgery and never fully recovered. Bulls released him this season, he played for the GSW G League team, now he’s back with the Bulls. He has his limitations but is definitely a plus side player. Not a young player…he is a sneaky 31. Four years of college and two or three seasons overseas saw him enter the NBA later than many. But that was his dream and here he is. He has a nice story.

We had Green, why didn’t we resign him. Replaced him with who???? The decision makers are 🤬 messing up

He was coming off surgery and not ready to play. Very iffy. I think the Warriors signed and waived him and he ended up on their G League squad. I’m not sure we had room for him anywhere at the time. And I’m not sure HE wanted to sign with the Bulls, exactly 100%. But he was hanging around the team and obviously wants to play in the NBA. It’s nice he came back. I think a good question is also why did the Warriors let him walk? He would seem a good enough fit.
