If Thunder had won this series it would’ve been Thunder vs Cavaliers. LeBron vs KD Part II.
In this hypothetical series, the Thunder go up 3-1 and are about to complete the greatest playoff run while beating a 67 win Spurs team and 73 win Warriors team in the process. But it all came crashing down. Durant starts choking and Westbrook turns into Westbrick and the Cavaliers stunningly overcame a 3-1 deficit to win the championship.
In the off-season Kevin Durant shocks the world by joining the Cavaliers, teaming with LeBron to form a Big 4. They end up winning the next two titles in the process and LeBron has a 5-4 finals record.

This video just make me confirm that Durant just keep playing hero ball to every shots rushed and passing some dumb turnovers at clutch minutes while even Russ is playing calmly in most time of the game and get only one TO in the first three quarters.
Especially your team is shooting only 13% from three, as the best player he should be more realized to control the pace however he didn’t, and that’s how he blew this game

Its just crazy to me how ppl say this team needed kd to beat LeBron. They were literally up 3-1 on him. And it went dwn to the final minute for them to lose. Lets be real them losing was a miracle. The injuries and ref calls suspensions all that had to happen for lebron to win. I believe the warriors were injured and won 3 games. During the regular season wen both teams were fully healthy the warriors whooped the cavs. Thr warriors would have still been the warriors without kd.

They weren’t going to beat the Cavs in ’15, or ’17 if we’re going to talk about hypotheticals. If Kyrie or even Love weren’t injured in ’15, the Cavs win in 5. The Cavs in ’17 were the best iteration of the Lebron-Cavs and even had a higher offensive rating than the KD Warriors, but their defense was complete trash when Lebron stepped off the court. More teams would’ve figured out how to guard the ’16 Warriors by ’17 and ’18 than they could the KD Warriors. They would still be the Warriors, but the KD Warriors is infinitely better, especially in the playoffs, than a bunch of good role players. ’17 Warriors blew out every single team in the playoffs.

I see a lot of comments about Russ and KD choking , but maaan, this okc offense is trash and predictable. They rely on only two players to create while everyone just stands and watches. They run NO motion offense, KD doesn’t post up , hardly comes off screens, it’s just PnR or ISO.
That is easy to guard! Warriors weren’t even worried about anyone on the thunder lol
All the while GS is playing great D and making okc work on D. Russ is NOT a true point guard. Russ and KD should be posting up and coming off screens, and moving.
Look at okc’s cast on offense lol Roberson , you don’t even have to worry about, same for Adams , waiters , you live with him shooting threes lol ibaka just stood on the perimeter like he’s a deadeye shooter lol.
I don’t think Russ and KD choked , they just lost to a better and complete team, who is more unselfish, better leadership, better coaching, and they never cared who took the last shot.
This is was still a legendary series. Klay is one of the most underrated two players in the league. Crazy how he’s never made an all defensive team.
Also Draymond outplayed all of Okc front court players. Curry not being clutch is a big ol lie.
