     @Jerro Carig nothing against the singer but the actual Canadian national anthem is sterile devoid of emotion. The Star-Spangled Banner was written in the middle of the battle for fort Henry. There’s so much more passion in the American national anthem.

    I love how Canada at least acknowledged that it’s actually the natives land in the their anthem.

    The US anthem on the other hand….

    Beautifully done. Loved that she changed it up a bit by saying “Our home ON Native land” instead of “Our home AND Native land”! Words matter.
