Honestly what’s most impressive to me is how deceptive bro is. The dunk was…Alright lol but the way he gets by with that spin on Lopez is just insane. Like he’s not explosive in the slightest, He’s not that fast, But he does everything so effortlessly and casually that he seems to catch everyone off guard, Bro makes it look ultra easy. Him and Shai gotta be my two favorite players in the league right now, And it’s crazy cause they’re both having MVP caliber seasons right now, And everyone acts like you can only be a fan of one or the other. Like bro I just appreciate good basketball lol

VJ Edgecombe stepped up in a major way in Game 7 on May 2, 2026, finishing with 23 PTS, 6 REB, 4 AST, and 5 3PM.

Edgecombe set the 76ers franchise record for most points by a rookie in a Game 7, passing Maurice Cheeks (20 in 1979).

He also made history beyond the franchise:

Just the 2nd rookie EVER to hit 5+ threes in a Game 7, joining Luguentz Dort
Joins Jayson Tatum as the only players in NBA history with 20+ PTS in a Game 7 at age 20 or younger
First rookie EVER with 20+ PTS, 5+ REB, and 5+ 3PM in a Game 7

A breakout performance on the biggest stage 🔥
