      @Michael Hurt he was robbed of mvp last year and two 1st first team all nba selection the past two years

    • Michael Hurt

      March 12, 2023 at 11:11 pm

      @Daebak Obviously you’re on the minority on that opinion but you’re argument is that because he’s ‘only’ viewed as the second best player in the league he’s being slept on. You realize how asinine that is, right?

      That’s like saying Elon Musk is poor because he’s only the second richest person in the world

      March 12, 2023 at 11:24 pm

      @Michael Hurt I agree I’m prob in the minority thinking hes the best player in the league past 3 seasons. I think the average nba fan views embiid very poorly due to his poor past performances in the playoffs. They view him as some kind of “fraud superstar” and i cant really blame them for thinking that. But I can see the major growth in him these past two year and i really believe the sixers will finally break through and get to the finals. No real major injuries for joel and team is laser focused w/ the whole ben simmons drama behind them. The amount of slander and disrespect this man got over the years bc hes a threat to their favorite player jokic from winning mvp is toxic and disgusting.

      @Daebak Fair enough but those people are idiots and/trolls. Jokic, Curry, LeBron all get plenty of hate as well. So do Harden and Russ. AD.

      Joel is fully appreciated by all the smart people that follow the NBA. Unfortunately for him his best years have overlapped with Jokic and Giannis putting up some of the best seasons we’ve ever seen.

    Embiid should be front runner for MVP, and should’ve won it last year, but Jokic is a better story. In other words, Jokic is the “great white hope”.

      @Michael Hurtwhat about the points he gives up defensively?

    • Rob Smith

      March 12, 2023 at 9:36 pm

      @Michael Hurt and Embiid is much much better on defense. It’s not even close on that end despite what Advanced Stats want to say.

    • Michael Hurt

      March 12, 2023 at 9:39 pm

      @dahlin sile they are 46-21

    • Michael Hurt

      March 12, 2023 at 9:44 pm

      @Kevin Wilson he’s +13 when he’s on the court and his on/off is +24. Embiid is +8 and +8. Giannis is +7 and +7

      If Jokic gives up 110 and scores 123 isn’t that better than giving up 100 and scoring 108?

    • Michael Hurt

      March 12, 2023 at 9:48 pm

      @Rob Smith Agree but the award isn’t who’s the best two way player. Which is Giannis anyway not Embiid
