The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Los Angeles Lakers, 138-94. Joel Embiid led the 76ers with 30 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists in his first triple-double of the year and sixth of his career. The 76ers improve to 12-5 on the year as the Lakers move to 10-8.

This was the fourth 30-point triple-double of Embiid’s career, tying him with Charles Barkley for second-most in franchise history, only Wilt Chamberlain has more such games for Sixers (15).

Embiid compiled his eleventh 30-point game of the year, giving him the most such games in the league (L. Doncic and S. Gilgeous-Alexander w/ 10).

Most talented player in the nba. Has a great team of switchy wings/bigs with batum, tobias, morris, and covington, and oubre . If they can get a zach lavine for tobias and oubre can make it back I would favor them to win a title.

@StrikeFirst01Β  the two is their only hole. I wouldn’t want to give up morris, batum, oubre. I would covington but tobias ad shrunken and can’t create his own shot in the playoffs. Maxey, lavine, batum, morris embiid has zero holes in their lineup.

Embiid is winning the MVP again this year. Then he’ll bottle in the playoffs, lose the MVP next season and win the league + Finals MVP next season as well. That’s the new pattern! Same thing happened to Giannis and Jokic

Theres one thing you are missing. The other 2 didnt have a horrific playoff resume before they started to win. Things wont just magically get better for embiid, lil fella needs to work harder than the rest to get on the level that the other 2 are at.

Two games in a row now where Embiid’s assists are up.
Could it be that Nurse is trying to utilize Embiid the way Malone utilizes Jokic?

Embiid is great, too many people deny it. Like all the advanced stats are jokic 1 embiid 2, then it starts to differ between stats
