This Celtics defense isn’t half yet defense Toronto had the year they beat a hobbled warriors team so I don’t understand why these analysts keep holding on to 2 inconsistent teams

      May 24, 2022 at 1:39 pm

And let’s be honest, with KD and Klay healthy, Toronto isnt winning that series

Everything JJ has been prognosticating against the Warriors has failed miserably.

Time will tell if Reddick is right. I personally think he is overrating the defensive abilities of Miami and Boston. GS run a unique offense and one missed defensive rotation is always punished. But whatever..let’s see what happens

I haven’t seen anything from those teams to see warriors having hard time. They are getting better each round and they have so many weapons.

I hope the celtics can take charge of their series after last nights demolition and then beat the warriors in 6 or 7

  7. Andrew Garfield Wiggins

    May 24, 2022 at 1:27 pm

Agree with this. You can’t underestimate both East teams. They are among the best defenders this season especially the Celtics who are #1. Even without Smart they can still be good

    • Andrew Garfield Wiggins

      May 24, 2022 at 1:45 pm

@Francisco Rosario Regular season record don’t mean much but if you insist. The Warrior beat the Celtics in 4 pts in Dec. but the Celtics beat team by 22pts in March. Remember the Celtics are not the same team in December they got better after the all star break

    • Fernando Munoz

      May 24, 2022 at 1:54 pm

and with all that said GSW in 5

    • Eve Fet

      May 24, 2022 at 2:42 pm

@Andrew Garfield Wiggins you mean the game Curry got hurt, and both those east teams are winning each other by 20 points. Defense

    • Andrew Garfield Wiggins

      May 24, 2022 at 2:47 pm

@Eve Fet that is why the regular season record doesnt matter because players get injured and teams aren’t competing at 100%

      May 24, 2022 at 6:30 pm

Nah the only team that can gave the warriors trouble is the Grizz cuz they are young and athletic and love to intercept passes. Only way Celtics can beat the warriors is if Marcus Flop dive Curry’s leg again. The Heat has too many injuries.

JJ is right, so why are people so triggered lol? It doesn’t mean Warriors wont or can’t win but those defenses, particularly Boston’s will give them some trouble. And given how ridiculously careless the warriors can be it can be a problem. Question is, is that enough over a 7 game series?

  9. richardstaples75

    May 24, 2022 at 1:33 pm

JJ gives a decent contrarian commentary.

ESPN shld also schedule Pat Bev as an ANALYST. Thru 2 GSW series, Pat Bev’s ANALYSIS seems to true-up better with this fan’s eye test AND the final game RESULTS, than JJ’s speculation.

I love it. Keep saying this. We’ll see how the dubs will look in the Finals.

Warriors score inside and out, they move the ball great, they will score big on both teams

    May 24, 2022 at 1:56 pm

He’s not wrong, but nobody ever talks about how hard scoring on the Warriors defense will be

      Duh they’re tryna fool you

  13. Will Hardy

    May 24, 2022 at 2:00 pm

If the Heat and Celtics are taking turns winning by 20, Warriors will be winning by 40. Warriors in 5, doesn’t matter who comes out of the east.

    • Brandon Little

      May 24, 2022 at 7:25 pm

warriors turn the ball over too much. you’re not beating Miami by 40. if u think winning in 5 is achievable, u in for rude awaken both teams match up well with warriors

  14. chico

    May 24, 2022 at 2:00 pm

Celtics do have a lot of versatile defenders, but would they really trust Horford or Robert Williams on a switch against Steph? I doubt it.

  15. Jordan Davis

    May 24, 2022 at 2:02 pm

I’m convinced JJ reddick is being paid to give these wild takes.

  16. SAMBUDI GOTREKT

    May 24, 2022 at 2:05 pm

You shouldn’t be surprised when JJ and perk pick anyone but the warriors. The teams they were in got spanked by the dubs multiple times in the post-season.

  17. nothing

    May 24, 2022 at 2:31 pm

The Warriors deserve credit but is it really a wild take to say that Jordan Poole will struggle to score more on Jimmy Butler or Marcus Smart vs. Reggie Bullock? And that Looney might not score 20 a game on Bam or Rob Williams and Horford instead of the centerless Mavs?

What JJ said is 100% true and we have people here who can’t listen to 80 seconds of a reasonable take about why the Warriors aren’t gonna cake walk to the championship. At no point did he even say the Warriors would lose. This is why people hate Warriors fans, talking like you’ve already won the Finals and giving no respect to your potential opponents.

Right, because no other sports fans do this? Stop acting like sports fans are reasonable compared to Warriors fans. I am sick of that narrative.

JJ is not saying wild takes, but him and other analysts really need to take a look at Miami’s offense and explain how it is good offense. Sports reporters really need to explain how the Bucks offense was a good offense without Middleton. And the Brooklyn Nets aren’t even a team. So I don’t need an explanation on that.

Maybe I just don’t understand basketball. Players standing at the 3 point line, waiting for their teammate to stop dribbling and shoot or pass is good offense now.

People dont understand this is Lukas time, the curse will be broken MAVS IN 7

  19. Roy Au

Reddick is a hard core GSW hater. He keeps putting the warriors down regardless of how well they are doing. He’s always wrong but that doesnt matter to espn. Bad analysts make good viewing 🤣🤣

    May 24, 2022 at 2:46 pm

If it’s the Heat vs Warriors, I don’t care who struggles with who. I just want a great series whoever wins 🙂
Warriors finish it in Game 4! Heat, f*cking be your best version to beat the Celtics! not the worse! XD

  21. Lex is

    May 24, 2022 at 4:38 pm

I want to see what JJ is saying, but I see Celtics defending teams who are missing great scorers or defending stagnant offenses. Tell me how Miami has a good offense? Tell me how the Bucks have a good offense without Middleton? And no need to explain Brooklyn Nets. They are not even a team. Lot of teams would look like good defenders against teams like that.

And apparently, all you have to do is beat Celtics in 1 good quarter to win. 😆

    disagree STRONGLY disagree.

  23. Garshaun McCombs

I think they will just have a major problem guarding the big men they struggle against average big men so horford/Williams or adebayo will have their way

  24. Raul Astillo

    May 25, 2022 at 10:01 pm

Wait til the GSW expose other teams weakness and prove why their the best team right now

  25. Riqui

    May 25, 2022 at 10:05 pm

Not like the Celtics are some offensive juggernaut either. Tatum is good but he doesn’t pressure the defense that much, and the rest of the team is not that great offensively. They are also very stagnant on offense
