Jimmy Butler joins Dwyane Wade (3 Times) as the only Heat players in the play-by-play era (since 1997-1998) to score 20+ points in any quarter of a Playoff game

Jimmy Butler becomes the first player to score 20 or more points in a quarter on 90% FG shooting in a Playoff game since Nikola Jokic, on 8/25/20, DEN v UTA since the beginning of the play-by-play era (1997-1998).
This marks the 6th time this has occurred in NBA Playoffs history
Nikola Jokic – 21 points, 8-8 FG on 8/25/20
Kyrie Irving – 21 points, 9-10 FG on 5/23/17
Tim Duncan – 21 points, 8-8 FG on 5/17/06
Dwyane Wade – 22 points, 7-7 FG on 5/14/05
Jalen Rose – 22 points, 7-7 FG on 5/27/00

Since the beginning of the play-by-play era (1997-1998), Jimmy Butler’s 22 points ties Dwyane Wade (3rd quarter, 05/14/2005) for the most points scored by a Heat player in any quarter of a Playoff game.

He truly is The GOAT’s son/Michael Jordan’s son
Being the 8th seed and dropping 50+ against the 1st seed and this time he is winning

This was better than anything MJ did at 33+. Better efficiency. Wade also had a better Playoffs run than Jordan in 2006, considering the team he had.
