Much much much needed win to not only end the losing streak but maintain the 8 seed for now in the east. Just a huge offensive game for both sides honestly but honestly one of the best if not the best offensive and shooting game for the hawks this year. Tied a season high with 22 threes and just huge games from many. Trae just spectacular with the playmaking as he’s been all year, incredible game. Dyson as well played really well, you can just see the offensive leap he’s taken. Zacc had a great game too, more of the flashes and winning plays. A good effort from Niang. Onyeka as well continues to be super strong offensively and it’s been great to see the leap this season. Bench was outstanding today. Caris with an awesome game, Mann, Vit, Gueye all stepped up in a big way, felt like the shooting was going our way for once but nonetheless a big win that we desperately needed. The goal is to get to at least 40 wins to hopefully secure a 7/8 seed, a super crucial head to head game next in Orlando for positioning, let’s go hawks #TrueToAtlanta

If your not a hawks fan I applaud you for being the first person outside of Atlanta to recognize that Trae is putting effort in as a defender.

Hawks shot 56% from the field and 53% from three so they were in a great rhythm tonight, although defensively they gave up too many points to the Jazz

Nobody will ever beat Caris LeVert in any race. He is fast, grabbed all kind of steals, and my Hawks as a basketball team just thrived off of doing their jobs to the best of their ability. I know Sexton made shots for Jazz which were most difficult but Atlanta as a unit just came together and shined. Vit knocked down about 7 or 8 threes while everyone else also drilled good quality looks. Thanks to the steals we earned nothing could truly stop us. Say what you want but Terrance Mann, Dyson Daniels and LeVert all bring that same equal intensity.
I’m just happy the points inside the paint were the biggest reason why this game lead to a Hawks victory. Okongwu and Mo Gueye both
showed how reliable both young centers could be. And I love the soft shooting touch Onyeka Okongwu has because of his skills.
Way to go Atlanta. This is why I believe in my team, because on offense we have no weakness. If our defense shows out like they did versus Utah, other teams better be careful.
In no way did we take this Utah squad for granted.
