Crazy thing is, his weakness was his handles, coming in and every year he’s gotten better. From year 1 to year 2 was a significant jump.

So glad JB is finally getting the respect from the media for all his hard efforts. It feels like he’ll always be overshadowed by Tatum but this dude puts in the work year in and year out to get better and better. He deserves every ounce of praise he gets.

He can handle, he can shoot, he can pass, he can grab rebound, he can defense and he can dunk on LBJ.
    What can’t he do

People forget that not only did JB average 18 ppg during the 17/18 playoffs just like JT did( he was 0.2 less..) but he was playing much better in that first round series agaisnr the Bucks, dropping 30 twice, but he got injured and it caused him to miss some games against the sixers and be limited in his minutes and injured in some of the games he played when he came back. The sixers series also happened to be when Tatum took off, but basically, they both have one awesome series that playoffs, and then both played solid agaisnr the cavs. For some reason though everyone thought tatum was the one who “led” the celtics to the ECF as a rookie..not saying JT wasn’t awesome for a rookie, and I’m also not saying JB was better or that he led the team, but they both were just part of a group effort. Marcus coming back from injury early was huge, ALs defense and offense were HUGE, as well as both of their leadership. Terry stepping up with 16 and 6 per game in place of kyire was huge. Yea he had that terrible game 7, but he also scored like 27 the game before in game 6 and was definitely our best player that night. Plenty of guys stepped up on the Celtics those playoffs. The media just loves to try to pick one player, whichever one they think the fans will flock to the most, and try to give them all of the credit. It’s all business to them.

It’s crazy being a Celtics fan, and it’s like him & Tatum neck n neck, it’s like a 1A & 1B situation, sometimes 1 is better than the other. 😂 I’m just glad we got both.

You can tell working out with Tmac has rubbed off on him. The way his whole body moves with his crossovers

Once he develops his post game it’s over, Tatum and Brown are going to the best organic duo since Mike and Scottie

He deserves a most improved player award. Bro smashed his draft comparisons. Went from just and athletic shooter to someone whos getting his own shots.

    That 2016 draft was nice
    Simmons
    Ingram
    Brown
    Murray
    Sabonis
    Siakam

All have been or are capable of being all-stars

    Caris Levert
    Buddy Hield
    Malcolm Brogdon

Have turned into great starters who can elevate any contending team in more ways than one.
